When the Rykon Group of Companies was created in 1984, we determined
we'd never stray from one simple guiding principle. By Building
strong relationships we build profit. It's about having a winning
attitude, an element of control and commitment. That's what differentiates
us.
The Rykon Group of Companies includes numerous corporate entities
owned by the Group participants. Independently and with our joint
venture partners, we've developed and built major housing, hydro-electric
and manufacturing projects, created and operated hotel interests
and profitably managed leadership in agricultural markets.
We're a group of hands-on, quality-driven entrepreneurs. The Rykon
Group's team of professionals are involved, committed and accountable.
When brought to bear on a project, an issue or a challenge, that
attitude has earned us fistfuls of accolades, the respect of our
competitors and the loyalty of our customers and financial partners.
The corporate stability that the Rykon Group has shown over the
years comes from having a shared vision. That's not a cliché. Shared
vision is an integral part of our corporate nature. It has differentiated
us from the crowds in every project we've tackled.
We're proud of the exceptional lifestyle communities we've built
together. Monterra in Tsawwassen, Ocean Park Grove and Brambley
Hedge in Surrey, Pacificview in Bellingham, Ashford Park and Willow
Grove in Seattle, Somerville Corner and Southbay Landing Kelowna.
They are all truly stunning examples of a commitment to excellence.
Rykon treasures the peer acknowledgment we've received through
awards from groups like the Canadian Home Builders' Association
and others. Besides the enthusiastic response of clients when they
move into their new homes, the awards showered on Rykon are an extra
dose of proof that we are doing it right.
We're building relationships and client satisfaction one nail
at a time.
The Rykon Group's success is not a magic formula. It's an attitude
and an operational format that is repeatable. For example, we provided
executive management consultation to Can-Oat Milling Inc. in Portage
La Prairie. The Rykon Group was involved with Can-Oat from the beginning.
We're pleased to say that with management guidance, teamwork and
application of the Rykon philosophies, Can-Oat has grown to be the
largest industrial oat miller in the world.
The Rykon Group of Companies has also proven success is repeatable
through a joint venture undertaken with the Robson Valley Power
Corporation. Rykon was part owner of the Robson Valley power plant
project and helped harness water energy for B.C. Hydro's commercial
and residential power customers. Our hands-on role included processing
of regulatory and environmental issues, financing and construction.
We have proven our capability in combining the strengths of management
in widely diverse business arenas. |
